Personality Traits: Oliver is a pretty friendly individual, tends to have a refined set of manners, and overall seems overall calm in most situations. However, he does tend to be sarcastical and cynical in certain situations, speciffically with people that disgust him. Besides this, he seems to be a pretty collected individual, he is also pretty patient, however, tends to be pretty determined.

Strengths and Advantages

Intelligent and Wise

Oliver is a really intelligent person, as well as wise, he has been studying his whole life as well as living it

Good at detecting Lies

He has a keen eye, he can easilly spot someone lying if they are what he could call as "obvious" enough

Determined

If Oliver wants something, he'll make everything possible to get it, of course, this can also be a double edged thing

Collected and Self-Analytical

Oliver knows enough about himself, he has a great poker face, and centers on keeping composture even in the worst situations

Well mannered and Friendly

On top of all, Oliver tries to be nice and treat everyone well, unless they start acting in a way that makes him change his mind about his first decission

Like any good person that centers on self-development and control, one has to be able to keep a certain ammount of agility

Really Detailist and Careful

Oliver, after many years of travelling, has developed a great ear and a great eyesight, he would note many details that others could miss on, mostly because he tends to be slightly distrustful.

Oliver has a great skill of Deduction, give him enough hints and he can easilly bring a whole panorama out of small clues, however, the fact that he asks doesn't exactly mean he doesn't get it

Weaknesses, Fears, and Disadvantages

Not profficient with weaponry

He knows the theory behind things like sword-fighting or crossbow shooting, but he does not fare as well as anyone skilled in the trade with said weapon.

Relatively Fragile

He may not be weaker than a flower petal, but he is prone to more damage due to his lack of straight training, muscular mass and so on. If he's not wearing propper protection, he could recieve much more damage than others, and since he normally preffers light armor unless special ocations, that's not going to help him much.

Distrustful

Oliver just finds it extremly hard to trust someone, he has never suffered anything to reach to this, he mostly finds it illogical to give trust to someone unknown or barelly known.

Not the Best person to handle death threats

Oliver has a special... "Tick" with death threats, or any type of threat, he takes them much worse than one would, if its someone that he finds as holding a good bunch of power, he'll worry and probably act a little more paranoiac, if its someone who finds not as powerful, he will grow really hateful against that person. We can say that threatening Oliver in a place he feels as his own would be like asking him to brutally murder them, he finds it a disrrespect, as well as a dumb thing, "why don't just kill me? why do you want to make me know this? Do you think i'm scared of you?" Not the Strongest Physically

Regardless of being a blacksmith, he does lack of some strength, he would have to do a bigger effort to be stronger physically, due to his elven blood.

Cynical and Sarcastic

Olvier can act really mean sometimes, recurring to sarcasm and cynism a lot, he tends to do such when he feels disgusted by someone's attitude, or sometimes he can often let it out because he's used to it.

Slightly Paranoic

Oliver can end up being pretty paranoic of certain situations to an extent, when he feels threatened he will grow wary of everything.

Character backstory (At least a paragraph):

The Spring family was a minor noble family from A decently sized town. that was known as a trade family, they moved large ammounts of goods in and out the city. Oliver was born in this little silver cradle. His parents were Edmund Spring, the proud current human leader of the house Spring, and Lady Rachel Spring, A tall woman, with red eyes and brown hair. They recieved the child pretty well, and gave him all that he needed

Years passed though and nothing happened, the kid grew, though he showed much more intelligence and slyness than the average, he seemed overall gifted in that aspect. He eventually started studying, centering his studies on the basic Scholarship that any noble would have.

In his free time, Oliver always spent time reading and asking around, learning everything he could, his uncle, who was part of the military of the city, offered to train Oliver in swords and bows, and after his sessions were over, Oliver spent a lot of time with either the Priests that prepared many medical beverages and the alchemists, but most of the time he wasn't studying his scholarship, he was with an interesting individual... His name, was Arthur Hawthorn, He was someone who worked for Oliver's family as a Smith, however, the man was much more than that, he was an inventor, a jeweler... Oliver found in him an idol, someone he could follow... and thus, Oliver became his apprentice, learning most of his skills, studies, etc.

Years passed and Oliver one day, the 19th of August, Oliver turned 19, and for his birthday, he recieved a Longsword, but not any longsword, a Patterned Steel longsword, It had a guard that ended in a round shape, good for striking plate armored oponents with, and at the other side of the ebony hilt, there lied an octogonal pommel. the days passed and he started to feel bored about his tiny world, he wanted to learn more, this city wasnt enough for him, he needed to explore the world like his master...

And so, when he turned 20, he packed the little things he had, he managed to finish his scholarship, his training, and managed to learn enough Jewlery Making and engineering, explore the world and try to discover the unknown, he wanted to accomplish his only dream, to raise even more his familie's name, he wanted to help everyone he could and manage to be remembered, beacuse, after all "Heroes always get remembered, but you know legends never die". In his trips he learned a lot, wild flora and fauna, slight survival skills, he refined his main skills, even though physical strength wasnt his, well, strength, he had a strong will, and he was a determined individual.
