Character Name: Hauk Gunnolf Rasmussen

Character Age and Gender (Tumblr genders not allowed): 27, Male

Personality Traits: Hauk is a very strong headed person. He has an ‘outer’ personality he shows to most people which is brave, cunning, arrogant and outspoken. He wants to be known by people and carries himself with pride. He is very hardy and can endure a lot of physical trails. On the inside he is a lot more delicate and caring and uses philosophy more than he is given credit for. Hauk appreciates the little things in life and tends to focus on those when things aren’t looking so good in the big picture. He tends to be stubborn and tries to ignore his problems until they come and look him in the eye.

Character Appearance (Recommended that the skin looks similar to description. Try to keep it medieval themed): Hauk isn’t super skinny, nor is he super muscular but he’s definitely more on the fit side. His skin tone is that of a typical European caucasian. His hair is curly and dark brown with bits at the front and sides being blonde. His eyebrows are slightly darker than his hair and his eyes are a light brown. He has a beard that is identical in color to the rest of his hair, but much coarser. He wears leather armor with some plated tinted iron strapped around his shoulders, hands and legs.

Character Strengths and Weaknesses: Hauk’s strengths are all in his muscles and some parts of his mind. He is good with lifting weight and has good cardiovascular endurance. With his thoughts he’s strong in the sense that he likes to figure out /why/ things happen instead of just accepting the fact that they do happen. He was taught to be skeptical at a young age and it certainly stuck on with him as he grew older. His weaknesses are centered around how he deals with extreme emotions, per se. He is usually seen with a neutral or overly ambitious vibe since that’s what he’s put up, but with being overly sad, angry, or happy, he doesn’t deal with it as well as he could. He either gets way too into it or ignores the issues completely.

Character backstory (At least a paragraph): Hauk was born in a small fishing village to two peasants who took benefit of programs that were to assist the poor and did what work they could manage to find and be hired for. At a young age his father left both him and his mother and she raised him for the majority of his childhood. Once he matured into a teenager and was finding work to help support him and his mother, he found himself stopping by for delaying periods of time watching soldiers come in to train groups of volunteers who were needed for the kingdom that they lived under. Hauk was fascinated with how they moved and used weapons skillfully. Around this time there was a plague going around, which is why the kingdom was looking for volunteers seeing as their soldiers were falling sick. Hauk’s mother fell sick as well and because of this he was motivated to volunteer. Before then though he practiced what he had watched the other volunteers be taught using a stick in his bedroom and once he determined and thought he was good enough, he volunteered. From that point on his life was carried into battle, though he did end up getting benefits and money and being able to care for his mother and keep her alive. Nowadays he’s never really in one area, but rather going around and doing as he pleases since his mother is in good care.

What do you plan to do with this character: I honestly just wanna role play him so I can flesh him out even more. I like writing a lot and I don’t get to do enough of it and this was a great chance I wanted to jump on.
